Change to appointment system
Recently the practice has expanded it's staff base to make a wider range of professionals available to our patients. As part of this work we are now asking patients to give a short description of their problem/need when booking an appointment. This is to allow staff to best direct your request to the most appropriate person within the team. This should help to alleviate the pressures on appointments and result in you being seen by the most appropriate person in a timely manner. You still have the option to decline to give a reason should you desire.
Smoking Cessation Clinics
The practice currently has access to 2 different smoking clinics. The first provides support for patients with specific mental health related problems (including: depression, anxiety, stress-related illnesses, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, dementia, learning difficulties, autism, substance misuse). This service can be accessed via the reception desk at either surgery. For those patients not suffering with these conditions the service is provided by Kickstart. You can self refer to Kickstart by calling: 08000858818.
Firearms License Requests
At times when people are applying to hold a firearms license the police will write to their doctor to request advice as to whether the individual is suitable to hold a firearms license. The position of the practice is that this judgement falls outside of the medical expertise within the practice. As such the practice will be unable to comment on the suitability of individuals to hold a firearms license.
CQC Report: Rated as GOOD

Welcome to Grosvenor Medical Centre
We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
Named Accountable GP
Please note that from the 1st April 2015 all patients have been allocated a Named Accountable GP who is responsible for your overall care at the Practice. If you wish to know who your Named Accountable GP is, please contact the Practice. In addition, if you have a preference as to who your Named Accountable GP is, please let us know, and we will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that we accommodate your request. Please be aware that although you have a Named Accountable GP, this does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the practice whom you may already see regularly.
Online access to medical record
From 31st March 2016 you will be able to access more information from your medical records online. This will include vaccinations, immunisations, diagnoses and results. Further information on how to set this up can be found here
