We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using our online forms.
The practice nurses provide regular reviews and follow up for patients with:
- Diabetes
- Heart disease
- Asthma – If you have been advised by the surgery to submit an annual review of your asthma symptoms
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (smoking related respiratory problems) – If you have been advised by the surgery to submit a COPD assessment
Other services provided are
- Cervical screening (smear tests)
- Childhood vaccinations/immunisations
- Adult vaccinations – including flu and pneumonia
- NHS health checks for over 40 to 75 year olds
- Cardiovascular risk assessments (cholesterol/BP checks)
- Wound care – including leg ulcer management
- Blood pressure checks (including 24 hour BP monitoring) – If you have been advised by the surgery to submit your blood pressure readings on a regular basis
- ECGs
- Doppler assessments (checks circulation in legs)
- Phone advice (for minor health issues)
- Travel health advice and vaccinations – If you are travelling abroad and need to book travel vaccinations
- Antenatal
- Minor surgery (referral by doctor)
- Joint injections (referral by doctor)
- Phlebotomy
- Wellbeing services – social prescriber/ care coordinator
