Training practice

In addition to our services for the community, we are also a training practice. This means that we mentor a range of medical and nursing trainees  including GP registrars, medical students, student nurses and other clinical trainees working alongside the practice team.

A GP registrar is a fully qualified and experienced doctor at the start of their career in general practice. They are invited to join the practice for a period of 6 to 12 months in order to gain further experience in the field.

You may be asked if you mind a student sitting in on your consultation or spending some time with you to discuss your health. You are able to say no to this request at any point.
